About our Artist: Balinese craftsman Putu Oka Mahendra acquired his fired inheritance from his mom, Made Tantri, who spearheaded clay masterfulness in 1980. At first, she attempted the whole plan and making technique without anyone else’s input, and built up a notoriety for fine structure and high caliber. In 1990, when Tantri passed away, Oka Mahendra assumed control over her work, and in the end opened a showroom in her memory.
