Block Lamp – Designed by Harri Koskinen for MoMA.
- Finnish creator Harri Koskinen was roused by mechanical glass blocks when he made the Block Lamp, which is included in the Museum’s collection
- Two hand-cast glass pieces disguise a 15-watt candelabra globule (excluded) inside a matte sandblasted knob shape, making the deception of a typical light encased in glass
- This commemoration version includes a red woven rope and can be put on a story or table for surrounding lighting

Finnish creator Harri Koskinen was propelled by mechanical glass blocks when he made the Block Lamp, which is highlighted in the Museum’s gathering. Two hand-cast glass pieces disguise a 15-watt candelabra globule (excluded) inside a matte sandblasted knob shape, making the fantasy of a typical light encased in glass. This commemoration release includes a red woven string and can be set on a story or table for encompassing lighting.
