Alessi “Tea Rex”, Kettle in 18/10 Stainless Steel Mirror Polished With Handle

Designed by Michael Graves in 1985, the pot with the feathered creature molded shriek ended up one of the symbols of twentieth century outline. To stamp the 30th commemoration of this well known pot, Graves updates the shriek, transforming the little winged creature into an enchanting heavenly reptile, an ancient, fanciful and cutting edge animal all in the meantime: Tea Rex. The decision of the mythical beast is a reference with respect to the architect to the Chinese culture for whom these creatures symbolize quality and fortune. The wording Tea Rex 9093 30th commemoration is stamped on the top of the kettle.
